It’s Girlchild’s birthday, so we won’t be going to any major election night parties. We’ll probably be bashing this at a neighbour’s place.

That is fantastic. I hope hope hope you get a chance to do it in celebration and not frustration!
Photos wil be taken.
[...] Helen has the moment exactly. [...]
Inspired!
Bash it on behalf of trees and refugees.
bash it good.
You’re my kind of people!!
Takes me back to Guy Fawkes and bonfire night.
Let’s hope tonight that this particular guy gets seriously charcoaled in the mother of all barbeque stoppers.
Give the Girlchild an elephant stamp for skill and commitment.
PS. Assuming it’s the work of the Girlchild. If it’s yours, don’t give up either your day job … or your sentiments. :0)
Great!! Bash it hard for me too, what ever the result is tonight.
One hopeful straw-in-the-wind this afternoon.
I have just returned from taking an old lady to vote. I had never ever considered her as anything but a devoted JH supporter but, after casting her vote, she got back into the car saying ” We’re going to win -Kevin 07 ” I nearly fainted !
PPS. How remiss and mea culpa of moi.
The real issue is that the Girlchild has a wonderful day irregardless (sic, and copyright Coodabeens) of the event of much lesser importance today.
Let the lolly bags be unrestrained!
Thanks Sedge. But it was All My Own Work.
Except for the specs, which SO made.
I’m afraid “irregardless” has mutated into the word population and has gorn feral. I’ve heard it in many places.
Helen, that looks much bigger than the one in Teh Age today. Very fine work indeed. Have a great night. I think I should pick up another bottle of vino when I collect my daughter from Safeway at 9 pm.
Ohhhh that’s lovely!
Congratulations!
Oh, you ‘re too kind. Hattie, my mum also gave me the credit for Howard’s demise, but I think that’s going a bit too far in the voodoo thing. (I think if there’s anything in voodoo or voudoun, what with all the pinatas around town, he would have had a helluva headache after it all.)
Helen you’re a whacker. I love it!
My laptop screensaver is a photo of Colette at waxworks London with a wax of Howard and she’s got her hands around his neck and an evil smile.
It’s been my voodoo doll image for months!
Don’t be so modest. We are all grateful.
You are a legend!
It’s tremendous. Having attempted and failed to make a scarecrow head, I know what a feat this is.
